Bluethroat (Luscinia svecica)
Breeds in willows and reeds to water and ditches,
in the floodplain, even on hillsides and woods. Nest close to the ground well hidden. Summer bird winters mainly
in West Africa to India. Slim, small bird with long thin legs, with a clear white over-the-eye-streak.
Easily identifiable by the shiny blue throat, sometimes fitted with a white stain.
