Canada Goose (Branta canadensis)

Native to North America, the Canada goose in Germany and other countries of Central Europe was introduced as an ornamental bird. Today it is to see all year round, waters even in the middle of cities, lakes, gravel pits, fish and village ponds. It is 90-110 cm tall, the plumage is brown above, pale below, head and neck are black, they have a white cheek patch.
