Western Yellow Wagtail (Motacilla flava)
Here summer bird, wintering in Africa. Breeds on pastures, wet meadows, at the edge of moores
and Marshes, landscape as well as fields and farmlands. Male with rich yellow color at the bottom,
femal somewhat paler, more beige to light yellow. Wings brown to gray, the Western Yellow Wagtail
occurring with us is also characterized by a very clear, bright stripe glancing over their eyes.
