European Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis)
Unusually colorful bird with black-white-red head-coloring and typical yellow wing stripe.
Very sociable, usually sings high on trees. Foraging mostly in smaller troops on wild herbs
surfaces with thistles and other seed-bearing shrubs.
