Black Swan (Cygnus atratus)
The Black Swan is a species of bird in the genus the swans. He is the only almost completely black
swan and has the longest neck of all swans. He comes originally from Australia and Tasmania, all
existing in Europe are released swans and wild. The Black Swan is slightly smaller than the Mute
Swan, his plumage is black, the beak bright red. The Chicks are light gray. The Black Swan is the
emblem of Western Australia.
